On Christmas Eve, we went to afternoon church and then all of AJ's family came over to join us for dinner. We took a few minutes before church to snap some family pictures.
On Christmas morning, Avery woke up around 6 and had to use the bathroom but I guess she was so tired she didn't realize it was actually morning. Thankfully, she went back to sleep until a little after 8, when I awoke to her yelling through monitor, "It's time to open presents. It's time to open presents."
Santa left a new ankylosaurus in her stocking.
Avery started "handing out" the gifts first, but since she recognizes her name she very carefully looked for tags that said "a-v-e-r-y." Grandpa ended up helping her with a few other tags so that others got presents to open as well.
Avery helped get all the presents out that were hidden on the back side behind the tree.
Mommy and Daddy got her a Rapunzel dress and princess doll.
