Last week we went on a family vacation to Hilton Head. This was Avery's second trip to the beach. Her first one was when she was 11 weeks old. 
This year she had a great time playing on the beach and being in the sun.
She loved building drizzle castles and being the "moat filler."

running to the waterAt first, Avery was scared being in the water but by the end of the first day she was sitting in it, splashing, and jumping around. 
In the evening we would go to the bridge and feed the turtles. There were probably a hundred of them that would come over to the shore to eat. There were also 3 alligators that we would watch for.
We cooked in several nights, and Papa bought Avery some cupcakes for dessert. She's so funny because she only ate the top (icing) half of every one.
