We had some sparklers around the house so we decided to go outside one Sunday afternoon and use them. 
This is how Avery started - ears covered practically running away from them.
She warmed up a little and would hold my hand as I moved the sparkler around.
After taking these fun pictures, I realized that our child has a sticker on her forehead. She loves stickers. I guess it adds character to the pictures.
After a couple of sparklers with mommy and daddy, she was ready to light up the sky on her own.
