Fun With Animals

On Sunday, a friend of ours opened up her family's petting zoo, Cricket's Mobile Petting Zoo, to families to take pictures. The first animal Avery held was this sweet, little baby chick. This is the picture as Avery freaked out and dropped the tiny chick on the ground. No worries (thankfully) as the chick was just fine.

She got to feed the goats. All the animals were very well fed by the end of the afternoon.

This time I held the chick for her to see and feel.

One of the unexpected best parts for Avery was the creek in the backyard. Here she is holding Ryder by the water.

She loved the soft bunny

and gave it kisses.

This goat was really sweet and was totally comfortable just lying in her lap.
