Avery has a way of saying things that just make us laugh. Over Christmas, she was singing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer quite a bit. One day she says, "Mommy, who is glee? Is she a girl or a boy?" ("And they shouted out with glee") Naturally, "glee" has to be a person.
She has also learned what dessert is, and very much like momma, if it's not chocolate, it's not dessert. Her favorites are chocolate and ice cream with sprinkles. We encourage her to eat dinner before allowing her to have dessert. Yes, Grandma, she is eating more with this new motiviation. One night she didn't eat her dinner so I let her know there would be no ice cream that night. Her response was, "but mommy, my tummy hurts when I don't get ice cream." I hear ya, kid! But, I have to stick to my word.
When I had some time off during Christmas I told Avery we needed to run errands. We went a few places - Target, Home Depot, etc. When we were on our way home, she began to cry and told me, "But Mommy, we didn't go to Erin's." I don't even know who Erin is! I tried to explain the word, but I have the cutest, most literal little two year old :)
And here is a silly face that Zach taught me:

Playing at Addison's one night, mommy and daddy found me like this coming out of the sink
