Now that I am two, I'm too busy playing so Mommy is going to take over my blog.
Mommy: I wanted to write down some of the things you do at two:
Since you have spent the last year in the walker room at church you now associate church with gold fish. We pull in on Sunday mornings and you say "Church. I want some goldfish."
You don't eat much of anything. You are a little grazer. But, you love snacks and sweets. Ice cream and cake seem to be your favorites right now.
My sweet baby, I sometimes say you are afraid of everything. You tremble at the vaccuum and printer. You scream and freeze in fright at bees and caterpillars. You don't like spiders, but daddy taught you to "stomp" on them. One day the birds were frightening you, so Aunt Ena has you yell "squawk!" back to them. Your newest fright is "funder" (thunder).
That leads me to all the cute words that you say wrong - like Uncle Aman, Shannenen, and I don't even know how to type the way you say octopus. It's so cute how you say the words differently, it makes momma kind of sad when you learn how to say them correctly.
You have loved school this year. Your teachers report that you are a little teacher yourself. You tell the other kids how to do the puzzles. You hold up books and question the other kids, "What is it?" I affectionately call you "Miss Bossy Boots."
You love to sing. In the car I always have to play Veggie Tales. You amaze me at how you can name which song it is just a few seconds into the music. Sorry, goose, you definitely inherited the Rosenow singing voice (or perhaps, lack there of). Your high notes sound just like mine and Ena's.
You love to listen to someone read books to you. You have these phases where you will have one favorite book for a week or two that has to be read to you every night. Then, you move on to a new favorite.
I am going to keep updating with all the cute and funny things that you say and do in the next year. You are so sweet and so fun. We love you so much!!

Lauren does the exact same thing with books...too funny! Funny too, I was just thinking last night about taking over "Lauren's" blog!
I'm contemplating having my name legally changed to "Shannenen" I like it so much! Please NEVER, EVER correct her! She is one of the joys in my life! Oh, and I liked her "handprint" she made today at school!
